A work colleague asked me to bake a cake for her daughter’s 13th birthday, which gave me a chance to practice my fondant skills I made her a two layer (bright) red velvet cake with cream cheese icing and decorated the cake in white fondant and matching red fondant stars in various sizes. I had so much fun making the cake and was so pleased that her daughter loved it!
